At the heart of Manchester’s vibrant Ancoats Green Park, an exciting new play space has been brought to life through the expertise of Massey & Harris and Tayplay.
Massey & Harris led the full project lifecycle, from initial planning and design through to steel structure fabrication and installation, ensuring every element was tailored to the park’s urban character and community needs. Their eye for design and craftsmanship shines in every detail of this bespoke play environment.
To complement the architectural steelwork, Tayplay supplied custom rope net structures, designed specifically for this project. Engineered for durability, creativity, and fun, the rope elements add a dynamic layer of physical activity, exploration, and adventure for children of all ages.
This collaboration between two UK-based experts showcases what’s possible when innovation in play design meets precision engineering. The result is a standout public space that balances play, safety, and aesthetics in one cohesive installation
