A: We primarily offer Red, Blue, Black, Green, Yellow and Beige Rope (Stock Pending.) If you require an alternative rope colour, this option is available, however there is a minimum order on the length of the rope, and the lead time is significantly higher. Our plastic connectors come in Red, Blue, Green, Black and Yellow.
A: We use only the highest quality materials for our structures. Our rope is manufactured in braided nylon and our nets are hydraulically pressed together using aluminium connectors. The masts are stainless steel. Foundation steelwork is hot dip galvanised. On our 16mm production side we mainly use MFP, and nylon connectors.
A: We offer 16mm and 18mm rope. We have just introduced 20mm and 22mm dies to our workshop, opening up the ability to supply larger rope nets.
A: With loose fill, you can brush away the surfacing to gain access to the rigging screw, with wet pour (Impact Absorbing Surfacing) you require corner boxes to gain access to the rigging screw, post installation. The corner boxes are topped with a rubber lid at finished ground level.
A: We use Solidworks to generate a model in the three-dimensional area; this is then manipulated with our tolerances and allowances, developed over 20 years, to achieve an accurate fit. All we require are some key dimensions, a photograph and/or a sketch.
A: Yes, we are entirely open with our library of imports/exports for your project presentations. Please get in touch with our CAD specialist for help in obtaining an appropriate form for your surface or solid modelling software. Our in house software is Solidworks.
A: Yes, please get in touch. We have a Dropbox digital product pack fully prepared with all the technical files and images for each of our products. We want to make it as quick and easy to sell our products.
A: This is controlled here at Tayplay. Fill your details into the contact form, including company name, and we will arrange a private log-in for yourself.
A: The net is designed in such a way, that a child cannot fall from the top directly to ground level. If a child were to fall, they would fall down the outside of the structure, and therefore the CFH is taken from the most outer rope, as approved by EN1176.
A: As the CFH is taken as above, there will be forced movement from the child as he/she moves outwards. The safety surface is the space which a child can fall on, and should be protected, the free space, or clearance space, is the space beyond the surface area, whichdoesn't require safety surface, however no objects should be within this space.
A: The full panels, fill the entire leg section, and the basic panels just cover the strip. The basic panel is purely aesthetic. The full panel gives additional climbing holes.
A: The standard lead times on structures are 3-4 weeks. Please contact us, however, as we may be able to do it sooner, depending on urgency and current production times.
A: Yes, we manufacture and design our own equipment. We are primarily a trade supplier of Pyramid nets, rotating Cone Climbers, Levitators and custom-made rope net equipment.
A: English is our first language. We also speak the following: French, Spanish, German, Italian, Czech, Polish and Slovakian.
A: We are the manufacturer of the equipment, and we work in a supply only basis. We will help you with technical drawings, to make installation as easy as possible. For our structures, you will require an installer. Our bespoke nets, are simply bolt and nut fixings, so depending on your structure, this may be a simple job for anyone to do.
A: Yes we can, however this is to fit to framework which you deem structurally sound. Please follow the same procedure, supplying us with dimensions, photographs and sketches. We will advise you what to do next.
If we were unable to answer your question, please ask us on our contact form, and we will get back in touch as soon as possible.
